Schluter®-KERDI-BOARD-SC

Schluter®-KERDI-BOARD-SC is a lightweight, waterproof, prefabricated shower curb made of KERDI-BOARD that is designed to integrate with the Schluter®-Shower System.

Function
Schluter®-KERDI-BOARD-SC is a prefabricated shower curb, made of KERDI-BOARD, for use in conjunction with the Schluter®-Shower System. KERDI-SHOWER-SC is waterproof and ready for tile, leaving only sealing of joints and corners to complete waterproofing. The curb can be used in conjunction with KERDI-SHOWER-T/-TS/-TT shower trays or mortar bases and is available in three sizes, 38″ x 6″ x 4-1/2″ (97 x 15 x 11.5 cm), 48″ x 6″ x 4-1/2″ (122 x 15 x 11.5 cm) and 60” x 6” x 4-1/2” (152 cm x 15 cm x 11.5 cm).

Installation

1. Apply Schluter-SET, Schluter-ALL-SET, Schluter-FAST-SET, or unmodified thin-set mortar to the floor and to the edge of the shower base and walls using a 1/4″ x 3/8″ (6 mm x 10 mm) square- or U-notched trowel.
2. Press the curb firmly into place. Check the underside of the curb to ensure that full coverage and support is achieved.
3. Seal the curb to the shower base and walls using KERDI-BAND waterproofing strips and KERDI-KERECK preformed waterproofing corners.

Función
Schluter®-KERDI-BOARD-SC es un bordillo de ducha prefabricado, hecho de KERDI-BOARD, para usar junto con el sistema de ducha Schluter®. KERDI-SHOWER-SC es resistente al agua y está listo para azulejos, dejando solo sellado de juntas y esquinas para completar la impermeabilización. El bordillo se puede usar junto con los platos de ducha KERDI-SHOWER-T / -TS / -TT o bases de mortero y está disponible en tres tamaños, 38 “x 6” x 4-1 / 2 “(97 x 15 x 11.5 cm ), 48 “x 6” x 4-1 / 2 “(122 x 15 x 11.5 cm) y 60” x 6 “x 4-1 / 2” (152 cm x 15 cm x 11.5 cm).

Instalación

1. Aplique Schluter-SET, Schluter-ALL-SET, Schluter-FAST-SET o mortero de capa delgada no modificado al piso y al borde de la base de la ducha y las paredes con un 1/4 “x 3/8” ( Llana dentada cuadrada o en U de 6 mm x 10 mm).
2. Presione el bordillo firmemente en su lugar. Verifique la parte inferior de la acera para asegurarse de que se logre una cobertura y soporte completos.
3. Selle el borde de la base de la ducha y las paredes con las tiras impermeabilizantes KERDI-BAND y las esquinas impermeabilizantes preformadas KERDI-KERECK.
